Grading Options
You have two main options for getting your cards graded and added to the Alt Vault:
Self-Managed Grading: - Submit the card directly to a grading company of your choice, such as PSA, BGS, or SGC. - After grading, arrange for the graded card to be shipped to your Alt Vault for listing and storage.
Alt-Assisted Grading with PSA: - Send your cards to Alt, which will forward them to PSA for grading on your behalf. Alt handles all aspects of the submission, including: Completing submission forms, Shipping and insurance, Quality assurance and tracking, Post-grading, the cards will be securely stored in your Alt Vault.
Steps for Submitting Cards to PSA via Alt
If you choose to submit cards through Alt to PSA, follow these steps:
Identify Cards for Grading: - List the cards you wish to grade in the Alt chat so they can be included in the submission.
Choose Grading Type: - Select between card-only grading or combined card-and-autograph grading.
Select a PSA Service Level: - PSA offers several service levels with varying turnaround times and pricing, such as Expedited, Super Express, or Walk-Through. Your choice will affect the cost. *All 'Value' submissions have been temporarily halted by PSA for the time being.
Understand Shipping Costs: - A shipping fee applies for sending cards to PSA, and additional fees for returning cards to Alt may be charged depending on the number of service levels in your submission. For instance, a $50 fee typically applies per service level.
Vaulting Fees: - If you are submitting raw (ungraded) cards and wish to vault them prior to submission, an intake or vaulting fee will apply.
