Buying on ALT

Why doesn’t ALT ship my purchases directly to me?
Ownership of all assets purchased on ALT is immediately transferred upon the completion of the transaction; however, cards will remain in the Vault unless an outtake is requested. This allows us to offer you verified authentic cards with low fees so you can buy with confidence.
How do I have an item shipped to me from the Vault?
You can request outtake for vaulted items by visiting the 'shipment' page under 'accounts' and clicking 'Ship from Vault.' This feature is only found on the web, not the app.
What happens after I make an offer on an asset or listing?
The seller of the corresponding listing will be able to review your offer. If the seller accepts your offer within 7 days, your account balance will be deducted by the amount of the sale, and the item will be instantly transferred to you within the Vault and appear in your Portfolio.
How do I pay for my purchase?
Fixed Price: To make a purchase or offer on an item, you need to have a linked bank account. This helps ensure faster transactions for buyers and sellers.
Liquid Auctions: Items with an ALT Value of more than $50k cannot be bid upon without 10% of the bid amount first being available in your Cash Balance. Learn more → LIQUID AUCTIONS GUIDELINES
