All cards are stored in the highest quality secure storage facility in the industry and fully insured while in the Vault and when in transit after being shipped out of the Vault.
To insure your cards while shipping them to the Vault, you can create a shipping label on our website and select shipping insurance up to $10,000. For additional insurance coverage beyond $10,000, we advise our customers with high-value cards to ship to the Vault while utilizing a personal policy. Alt recommends WAX Insurance for personal policies. Using their mobile app (iOS or Android), enter the referral code: ALTWAX to get started.
You can view Alt's Terms of Use here, which states we agree to maintain an insurance policy covering all assets held in the Vault with a coverage amount sufficient to cover a user’s vaulted assets up to the aggregated market value of each Asset.
